SME Business Development Executive @ Realex Payments
Primary Accountabilities
Realex Payments are a leading European gateway and we continue to experience rapid growth across our organisation. Our UK operation has had particular success and we are firmly committed to growing our capacity here and continue expanding our team accordingly. Based out of Hammersmith, London, we are focused on selling to both SME and corporate clients and we are now looking for ambitious sales professionals to join the SME Team. The latter focus on both the development and relationship of channels to drive lead generation, in addition to the management of the resultant sales leads, the conversion ratios and the maintenance of the dashboard SLAs.
Reporting into the SME BD Team Lead, this role is initially to focus on the management of existing inbound SME sales leads, bringing them through our pipeline process, from first contact to signing. This element of the role will provide strong product training which will enable the individual to move towards more ‘external’ facing activities including the development and ongoing management of channels that will feed our pipeline.
Duties and Specific ReDusponsibilities/Experience
Key duties include:
The timely management of inbound leads. Responding to queries via telephone and email ultimately to drive the monthly contract numbers to target
Detailed explanation of our services, objection handling and sales closing activities are the key focus. Gaining a strong understanding of competitive offerings will also be a large element of the training
Continued “follow up” of leads in accordance with the agreed timeframes. Ensuring that you adhere to the SLAs on the lead dashboards that are in use.
As the candidate achieves a good understanding of the sales closing process we would foresee them getting more involved in external facing activities – for example:
1. Bank Relationship Management
2. Web Developer/Shopping Cart Development
3. Marketing Event Attendance
Skills/Experience Required:
One to two year sales experience – Telesales or face to face – Target focused roles.
Payment processing or technical experience would be a distinct advantage.
Self driven, confident and highly motivated individual.
Professional and ‘polished’ (candidate must have ability to be customer facing if not previously in such a role).
Disciplined – the candidate must show an ability to work in a process driven environment.
Degree/3rd level qualification an advantage.
Training:
As part of the initial training the individual may be asked to spend some time in Dublin (2-3 weeks) with our SME sales and our integration and support teams there. On the job training will provided in London after this has been completed.
Remuneration:
The successful candidate will have a competitive base salary, all expenses, laptop, phone etc.
The SME team has a team target which is based upon the number of contracts signed per month. Commission is based upon these numbers and as these figures continue to grow this gives the opportunity for individuals to earn attractive OTE’s.
The position is required immediately and is based from our offices in Hammersmith, London
