VIENNA/LONDON | paysafecard, a provider of payment processing services has acquired Wallie, the Dutch internet payment company specialized in online communities and games.
Following the acquisition, paysafecard is set to expand its services in the payments industry. Wallie is currently available in 11 countries across Europe, offering its Wallie-branded prepaid service. Like paysafecard, it enables cash payments online through the use of a PIN. Wallie-cards of various denominations and currencies can be purchased online (as e- voucher) or at one of over 300.000 retail points worldwide. Wallie-card is aimed at online communities and games including Runescape, Habbo and Stardoll.
In recent news, Canadian e-commerce services provider PayPro Global has entered a partnership with Dutch online transaction system iDEAL and paysafecard to implement their payment methods to its e-commerce platform.
paysafecard operates in 27 countries worldwide with offices in Vienna, London, Bern, New York and Buenos Aires. The company provides four brands paysafecard, Cash-Ticket, YUNA and Happy Schenkcard.
