LONDON, UK | Payments services provider, DataCash, a MasterCard company, has recently announced that it has enabled award-winning online gifts company PrezzyBox.com to become the first retailer to go live with MasterCard’s newly launched MasterPass Wallet Service.
The MasterPass Wallet Service, now available to all DataCash Merchants, is a digital wallet capable of holding multiple cards that can be accessed by customers shopping both online and via their mobile phones or tablets. DataCash integrated the solution into PrezzyBox’s existing payment system, enabling the company to offer a more convenient and streamed experience on any device, at any time.
Benefits of MasterPass Wallet
The MasterPass Wallet enables customers to bypass having to enter their card number, expiry date and the CVC code when making online payments. By using the MasterPass Wallet, consumers can securely store all of these details from multiple credit, debit and prepaid cards in just one digital wallet. To pay, all they need to do is select a card from their wallet which speeds up the overall process.
By integrating MasterPass Online, retailers can benefit from a single-click acceptance button for their e-commerce site, speeding up the transaction process and helping to prevent lost sales during the checkout process. This does not change the transaction flow for retailers, so MasterPass Online is easy to integrate.
