BRUSSELS | In February 2013, Bancontact/Mister Cash launched its mobile app that allows customers to make payments using their smartphones or tablets. This takes the convenience of mobile payments to a whole new level, making it as easy as taking a picture.
Bancontact/Mister Cash, the dominant Belgian payment method, wants to offer an easy and safe solution for handling small daily payments. The app enables customers to make payments for up to 125 euros. As soon as users activate the application on their device and have Internet connection, they can start making payments. With the launch of a ‘co-creation’ initiative, the Bancontact/Mister Cash mobile app is entering its final stage of product development. The more co-creation, the more ideas, the stronger the app will be when it is launched to the general public at the start of 2014.
Bancontact/Mister Cash is excited to make the first version of the app available to customers for evaluation purposes and is looking forward to collaborate with them to further optimise the app and to discover its most promising use cases. The interactive process of testing, examining, adjusting and refining started this week.
Who can co-create and how?
Everyone who is registered on the following website can participate and submit feedback: www.bancontactmobile.com. Requesting an activation code to start using the app and participating in the co-creation initiative is simple. Thousands of people have already joined.
To participate, you have to meet two conditions:

- You must have a smartphone or tablet at your disposal
