VIRGINIA | Large merchants across North America can now relieve the headache of operating a complex payments infrastructure while at the same time position themselves for future growth thanks to a new managed service solution from Transaction Network Services (TNS) and AJB Software (AJB) called TNSPay.
TNSPay Direct combines TNS and AJB’s industry leading capabilities to create a solution that provides merchants with improved control, enhanced security and greater flexibility over their card present and card not present payment environment.
Simplify and Secure Payments
David Cronin, Senior Vice President and General Manager of TNS’ Payments Division, Americas, said: “TNSPay Direct has been conceived to help merchants simplify and secure their payments infrastructure, enabling them to focus on their core business activities while placing their trust in TNS, one of the most reliable and secure managed payments providers, to proactively support the smooth running of their electronic payments.
“Merchants are faced with an increasing array of payments-related challenges, such as EMV and PCI compliance. Adding in emerging trends like alternative payments and mobile wallets means the payments landscape has become very complex and frankly a distraction for merchants’ resources which would be better deployed on activities more centralized to their main objective of revenue growth. AJB has also recognized this issue and we’re delighted that they have chosen TNS to provide a managed service offering to their customers.”
TNSPay Direct provides access to a dedicated and fully managed AJB Retail Transaction Switch (RTS), applying geographically diverse active/active data centers and backed by an industry leading Service Level Agreement (SLA). All processing activity takes place within the TNS Secure Payment Network, including routing and connectivity to the processors and acquirers of the merchant’s choice.
Flexible options for point-to-point encryption and tokenization are pre-integrated with the RTS environment and aim to enable merchants to remove sensitive cardholder data from their environment. This improves security and reduces the scope of PCI compliance and audit activities, thereby resulting in reduced costs. Merchants can also select to use TNS’ card not present payment gateway, in addition to securing connectivity between their data centers and the hosted platform. TNS manages the payment environment with 24x7x365 monitoring and fault management, software configurations and relevant updates.
Pat Polillo, VP Sales & Marketing at AJB Software, said: “Partnering with TNS allows us to offer merchants a more comprehensive level of service which not only relieves the pressure of managing a complex payments infrastructure, but also makes available a wealth of additional value added functionality, such as point-to-point encryption and tokenization. “Our customers handle an incredible amount of payments traffic through their networks and want to use experienced providers to ensure this is managed with ease. TNS, with its extensive industry heritage, was the premier choice for AJB and we look forward to helping our current and future customers deploy TNSPay Direct and reap the benefits this offers.”
Founded in 1990, TNS’ global expertise extends to more than 60 countries across Europe, the Americas and the Asia Pacific regions.
