LONDON | Online gaming payment solutions provider PugglePay has signed a deal to provide its services to Malta-licensed operator iGame.com. PugglePay is a socially responsible payments solution that allows players to deposit using their mobile phone numbers.
PugglePay's Payment Solution
Users enter their mobile number into the PugglePay cashier at the gaming site, which sends a code to their phone via text message, and allows the company to verify a player’s identity then carry out a credit check that takes a fraction of a second. If the player passes the credit check, the agreed amount is deposited into their gaming account, and an invoice is sent for the sum to be paid at a later date, breaking down barriers to entry by offering a quick and simple method of payment.
PugglePay has now confirmed a deal with Malta-licensed operator iGame.com, one of a number of brands operated by iGame Malta. “PugglePay is proud to work with iGame, one of the leading brands on the Finnish market,” said Ekman Sinclair. “We are looking forward to together increase conversion rates and customer loyalty.” iGame Malta also operates online gaming sites including 24hPoker.com, Pokerihuone.com, Casinohuone.com and Bingohuone.com.
PugglePay was started in 2012 by entrepreneurs Kristofer Ekman Sinclair and Johan Friis, whose respective backgrounds are in the payments company Klarna, and the online gaming company Betsson. In August, they signing up operators Betsson and Mr Green as its first high-profile customers.
