THE NETHERLANDS | At 1 October 2014, Buckaroo, one of the leading Payment Service Providers based in the Netherlands, and subsidiary of Intrum Justitia AB, has appointed Mr. Andre Valkenburg as CEO.
Buckaroo is a full-service billing and payments service provider as services both small and medium sized merchants to large enterprise clients. Buckaroo is assumed to process payments for over 3,000 online retailers and businesses.
Buckaroo offers a wide range of payment services including the processing of international and national credit and debit cards, ewallets, real-time and off-line bank transfers, invoicing and mobile payments. The company is specialised in subscription, billing and credit management services (the platform supports recurring payments, bulk payments and payment collections).
One of their products include the Buckaroo PayperEmail module, which allows merchants to let customers pay by email. Via customised emails including payment buttons, clients and consumers are able to complete payment by using their preferred payment method from their inbox.
Buckaroo was acquired by Intrum Justitia early 2012. With over 75,000 clients, operating globally across 180 countries, Intrum Justitia is Europe’s largest Credit Management Services company.
Top payment service provider in the Netherlands
Valkenburg worked for Infostrada Interactive BV a mobile app company in Amsterdam, where he held the position of general manager. He brings over 15 years of experience in the online payment industry.
