DUBLIN - We are delighted to announce Colm Lyon, CEO of Realex Payments has received the prestigious Ruban d’Honneur in round two of the European Business Awards. Colm received the award in in the RMS Entrepreneur of the year category.Realex Payments was one of 10 country representatives chosen from Ireland to attend the first stage of the event, Unicarepharmacy and Aerogen have also been awarded a Ruban d’Honneur, selected from Irish representatives at this years event. Since 2007, the European Business Awards has been shining a light on the most innovative European businesses by promoting excellence, best practice and innovation in the European business community. The awards are now established as the major accolade in European business and are widely recognised as the premier business platform across the continent. Ruban d’Honneur recipients are judged by a panel of judges to comparable companies in comparable industries in Europe. Colm Lyon will appear before a third judging panel of highly regarded academics, heads of state, industrialists, entrepreneurs and media commentators drawn from across the 28 member European States. The interviews will take place in September in London, with an opportunity to win one of the tenEuropean business Awards, at the gala finale in Barcelona in November 2011.
