Germany-based payment services provider Computop has released the latest version of its payment platform, namely Computop Paygate 5.0.
The newly released Computop Paygate 5.0 offers the support of two new bank data centres to ensure faster processing for businesses’ payment transactions. Furthermore, the platform features more international and domestic alternative payment methods, including: Amazon Payments (US and Europe), FasterPay (UK), Skrill/Moneybookers (International), POLi (Australia and New Zealand), Przelewy24 (Poland), Teleingreso (Spain), Postfinance bank transfer (Switzerland), Postfinance card payments (Switzerland), Qiwi (International) and Ukash (International).
Additionally, Computop is now offering collecting services for companies that want to expand their business globally. With this functionality, merchants can eliminate the time involved with opening bank payment accounts in various countries, which is typically required in order to offer and support local payment methods, including POLi in Australia and New Zealand and iDEAL in The Netherlands, for example.
Recently, Computop has joined US-based e-commerce platform operator Demandware LINK. As a member of Demandware LINK, the company has developed a pre-built and approved integration to the Demandware commerce platform with its Computop Paygate cartridge, thus providing compliant and secure processing of domestic and international e-commerce payment transactions. The Computop Paygate cartridge for Demandware is available to all Demandware customers in the US and Europe.
