Klarna plans to simplify buying in the US

STOCKHOLM | Klarna announced last week it prepares to enter the US ecommerce and payments market. Klarna has recruited several experienced US (payment) experts to head up the Klarna organisation overseas. Klarna aims to launch its pay-after-delivery payment solution beginning of 2015. 

Digital River adds Klarna Invoice to its offering

MINNEAPOLIS | Digital River and Klarna entered into a strategic partnership that enables Digital River to offer Klarna for checkout to its merchants. At the same time it allows Klarna to process credit card and bank transfer payments through Digital River's payments gateway. Again a great partnership and leap forward for Klarna, as it is partnering with one of world's leading payment providers, processing more than $30 billion in online transactions (2013).

Adyen: $25 Billion in Payment Transactions in 2014

NETHERLANDS | Adyen announced last week that it processed $25 billion in payments transactions in 2014 – a close to 80% increase over 2013 – and achieved over 100% growth in terms of revenue and 40% growth in new customer wins. Based on figures from the end of 2014, the company has achieved an annualised run rate of $30 billion in transaction volume processed.

Klarna launches its operations in the US

Back in September 2014 Klarna announced it had plans to enter the US Market. Now they have officially launched their commercial operations in the U.S. with as its first major retail partner.
