Trustly is an online payment solution born in Sweden, that empowers both B2C and C2C payments. Trustly currently supports online bank payments from all major banks in Sweden, Finland, Denmark, Spain, Estonia, Poland and Italy and expanding further in Europe. Upon checkout, the online shopper selects Trustly as payment option, enters their username and password for their online banking and confirm payment. Merchants willing to accept Trustly in their webshop can tap into online shoppers who do not have a credit card or do not want to share card information over the internet. Merchants are able to accept Trustly by integrating via a simple API. Ecommerce merchants are also able to accept Trustly in their webshop by using the service of Trustly supporting Payment Service Providers (see below). As transactions are authorised by the shopper via their trusted bank, the risk of fraud and chargeback is virtually zero.
